Find out more about our Plastic Injection Moulding services

Plastic injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing identical plastic parts. It is suitable for low to high volumes and small to large parts.

Plastic polymers are available to suit every application for the final component, according the need for strength, durability, conductivity, aesthetic finish, fire rating, etc.

Before we can make the plastic components, we need an injection-mould tool, as this is the mould which defines the unique shaped part.

An injection-mould tool can be designed to produce a single part, multiple impressions of identical, mirrored, or different components.

Plastic injection moulding is one of the most common methods of producing plastic parts.

We have a highly experienced team making Plastic injection moulded components for a wide variety of sectors, including:

  • Automotive
  • Aerospace
  • Defence
  • Electronics
  • Industrial
  • Household & Leisure
  • Medical/dental
  • Oil, gas & Marine
  • Safety Equipment
  • Construction
  • Packaging & Security

We mould in a very wide variety of materials, sourced from around the world. These include filled and unfilled ABS, acetals, acrylics, nylons, polycarbonates, polypropylenes, peek and ultems, but we also use some highly specialist materials with ‘extreme’ attributes in relation to flame retardancy, electro-conductivity or operational temperature ranges.

We can help identify the material best suited to your final application and required aesthetic attributes.

Plastic injection moulding machines are used to produce parts made out of thermoplastic materials like polypropylene or nylon. They are commonly used in industries like automotive, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. Injection moulding machines are large industrial equipment that produce thousands of plastic items per hour.

The mould shop currently comprises the latest digitally controlled machines from 35 ton to 300 ton. We can also accommodate larger components that would usually require a press size of up to 1,500 ton.

This allows us to manufacture parts which are very small, lightweight and potentially delicate through to larger, heavier parts.

Where required, we can introduce a variety of different additives, such as anti-microbial, anti-static, UV stabiliser, siloxanes and colouring agents.

We can offer a range of additional, related services. Please refer to our additional services page.

It's all about you

Every client seeks components which are unique to their requirements. We will help optimise the process to create the finished part in the most efficient and effective way.

As UK leading plastic injection moulders, we manufacture a very wide range of both development and production mouldings for all industries; including medical, defence, aerospace, electronics, automotive, bio-tech and private sectors. We fully understand the discreet requirements associated with each Industry.

We work on a daily basis with a very broad range of high specification engineering and developmental plastics from simple ‘commercial’ polymers to the very latest nano-tube and metal replacement ranges.

Our injection moulding and tooling facilities are side by side for optimal work flow and control.

We can readily operate 24hr working for larger production runs and Expedited Services.

If you need a responsive, flexible and technically advanced supplier of plastic injection mouldings, we can provide the speed of service and quality you require.
